MATH PATHWAYS PROGRAM: FREE OF CHARGE

STEM Canada will provide a FREE  virtual math preparation programming to promote high-school readiness to grade  8 students across Ontario through the STEM Immersion Math Pathways Program. This virtual math program is available during the summer to help students navigate the curriculum of the new grade 9 high school math program.

This math pathways program for Ontario students was created in response to the announcement from Ontario’s Minister of Education that the grade 9 math curriculum this upcoming school year will be revamped in Ontario to eliminate lower steams of math for students. View the full story here.

BUILT FOR STUDENT SUCCESS:

This virtual math preparation program will be presented in 2 parts to graduating grade 8 students entering grade 9 in the fall. The program will run part 1 in a  2-week session for 2 hours per day in the morning beginning on July 15 – 19 and July 22-26. Part 2 will run in a 2-week session for 2 hours per day in the morning beginning August 12 – 16 and August 19-23, 2024. The program content run the grade 9 math curriculum and its concepts. Textbooks and resources will be provided.
